in the heart of Historic Old Town Manassas, Carmello's and Little Portugal
features fine Italian and Portuguese cuisine in a warm atmosphere at affordable
prices. Since 1987, the chefs have combined the freshest of ingredients
and years of experience to prepare a range of dishes from old favorites
to new and original masterpieces. The friendly and professional staff takes
special care to make sure every meal is a memorable one. For larger groups,
Carmello's has banquet space for up to 50 people, the perfect place for
corporate functions, rehearsal dinners, and holiday parties. On Friday and
Saturday nights, check out the live entertainment performing in a variety
of musical styles. While reservations are recommended, walk-in guests are
welcome.
While the
tendency might be to consider Carmello's for special occasions only, this
unpretentious restaurant is affordable enough to enjoy at any time. After
strolling the streets of Old Town Manassas, why not stop in for an after
dinner drink, sample an appetizer with a glass of wine, or just treat

SEATING LITTLE PORTUGAL - (30 TO 50 PEOPLE) A completely separate dining room that allows a number of different seating arrangements depending on the number of people. Table arrangements will be limited in certain respects because of the dimensions of the room. On Friday and Saturday nights when seating is at a premium, parties must be at least 30 people to book this room. LOUNGE - (15 TO 25 PEOPLE) A semi-private room that allows some degree of flexibility. On most weekends, there is live music beginning at around 7:30 p.m. The restaurant retains use of the bar area for guests and as a waiting area. ALCOVE - (UP TO 20 PEOPLE) A partially secluded area in the main dining room that can hold one long table with a break in the middle for access. This area is non-smoking.

Tiffany
lamps and candlelight gently light this restaurant. Tuxedo-clad servers
provide conscientious service, and woven baskets with baguette slices
and butter are standard. The wine list is a virtual picture book filled
with labels of Italian, Portuguese, and American vintage whites and reds.
Desserts run from the traditional Italian including Spumoni, Zabaglione,
and Mascarpone to fine pastries served table side.
